Creating a piece of ceramic art can be so much more than painting something pre-manufactured.

You will be guided, taught and inspired to create something unique and expressive of your own personality.

Art is about intuition, listening to yourself and letting your inspiration guide your color, your shapes, your use of line and design...  creativity flows when the window of the mind is opened.  Too often we are guided to follow a pattern or formula and made to think ART needs to mimic the example.  Be willing to explore and let your mind breathe.  The creative process IS as much a part of the heART, as is the product.

Students will learn the entire process from imagination and design to creating the ceramic piece.  The artwork will be bisque-fired in a ceramic kiln to almost 2,000 degrees.  Students with then glaze their pottery with ceramic paint and the pottery will be fired one last time. 

When it is complete, you will admire your project with a unique sense of accomplishment.
